Heathfield bonfire on 10 October, the free town fireworks on Thursday 5 November, the Bluebell Ghost Train, half term and Remembrance Sunday, with prices.
Heathfield’s bonfire night on Saturday 10 October is the next big date, the same afternoon Crowborough Athletic host Sevenoaks Town. Hailsham and Isfield follow later in the month, alongside a four-day real ale festival on the Spa Valley Railway, the Bluebell Ghost Train and half term on Ashdown Forest. Then come the town council’s free fireworks at Goldsmiths on Thursday 5 November, Wadhurst’s ticketed display two days later and Remembrance Sunday on 8 November.
Everything below was read from the organisers’ own pages between 1 and 4 October 2026, and every entry links to its source so you can check before you set off. Where an organiser has not published a price or a postcode, we have left it out. For places that are open whatever the month, see our guide to things to do in Crowborough.

- Crowborough Farmers’ Market, fourth Saturday of the month, 9am to 12.30pm, Crowborough Social Club, Croft Road. The market has no website of its own; the details are from the town council’s community noticeboard (Crowborough Town Council). The next is Saturday 24 October.
Getting there
Pine Grove, Croft Road and Chapel Green are within a few minutes’ walk of each other in the town centre. The football ground is at Alderbrook on Fermor Road, and the club puts the walk from the station at 25 to 30 minutes. Our page on parking in Crowborough has the car parks, and the roadworks and travel page is worth a look before either bonfire night, when the closed roads catch drivers out. For rail, see train times to London.
This page is rewritten as organisers confirm new dates. Dates can still change, so use the links before you travel. More in our What’s On section.
